- Download SO-03D_6.0.A.5.12_Docomo.ftf (461)
- Download LT26w_6.1.A.1.58 (4.0.4)_Taiwan_Sony.ftf (529)
Root Xperia Acro S without unlock bootloader
- Go to Settings > Security, check Unknow Sources
- Go to settings > Developer Options, check USB Debugging
- Go to Settings > Developer Options, Check Stay Awake
- Go to Settings > Sleep, set to 30 minutes
- Copy SO-03D_6.0.A.5.12_Docomo.ftf and LT26w_6.1.A.1.58 (4.0.4)_Taiwan_Sony.ftf to Flashtool\firmwares\
- Run Flashtool
- At menu, Click Flash than select Flashmode
- Choose SO-03D_6.0.A.5.12_Docomo firmware
- Check all option in Wipe coloum and uncheck mark
- Turn off Acro S
- Using USB cable, Hold Volume[-] button and connect the device to PC/Laptop, make sure that LED light is green (flashmode)
- Wait until process done, the device will restart
- Remove the device from PC/laptop
- Close Flashtool
- The language setting in device will change to Japannese, change to Englise (or your language if available), and make sure USB debugging still checked.
- Open Rootingkit1.0.2 extract folder
- Run Step 1.bat
- Run Flashtool
- Click Flash button and select Flashmode
- Choose LT26w_6.1.A.1.58 (4.0.4)_Taiwan_Sony firmware
- Uncheck all option in Wipe section, check only “No FInal Verification“
- Turn off the device
- Hold Volume[-] button and connect the device to PC/Laptop, make sure that LED light is green (flashmode)
- Wait until process done, the device will restart
- Close Flashtool
- Turn on Xperia Acro S
- Open Rootingkit1.0.2 extract folder
- Run Step 2.bat, your device will restart few times in process.
- Done, your device is rooted!
- Go to GooglePlay to download SuperUser and Busybox.
note:
- If after flashing your device is stuck (doesn`t restart), remove the device from PC/laptop and do Force Restart (Press and Hold Power + Volume[+] button)
- For check bootloader status, dial *#*#7378423#*#*, then go to service info > configuration
- If an update notification appear (to 6.1.A.2.45), you can update it from device without losing your root
